IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to a high volume of repairs, and a staffing shortage in our repair department, we are ONLY accepting repair requests from our previous customers or Hunter Douglas products still covered under warranty at this time. If your repair does not fall into one of those categories, please check back at a later date for service or repair. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Step 1: Is Your Product Repairable?
What We Can Repair:
We will generally repair the following brands if they are less than 15 years old:
- Bay View Shade & Blind Century/Elite Series
- Hunter Douglas
- Graber
- Comfortex
Common repairs include situations such as:
- Product will not go up and/or down
- Broken strings
- Loss in string tension
What We Cannot Repair:
We often cannot repair products older than 15 years. Some brands may be repairable past that point on a case-by-case basis. We also cannot repair the following brands:
- Bali
- Levelor
- Kirsch
- Delmar
- Norman
If your shade is not repairable, your next best option is a replacement. You can schedule a free in-home consultation with one of our design consultants to find the best solution.
Step 2: How to Get Your Product Repaired
Option 1: Bring Your Shade/Blind To Us
The most cost-effective way to get your product repaired is to bring it to one of our galleries. For the fastest service, you can bring it right to our repair center within our Waukesha location, located at 1616 Paramount Drive, Waukesha, WI. The repair cost will be based on warranty status, size, brand, and/or complexity of the repair.
Option 2: We Come To You
If you aren’t able to bring your product to us, we can come to you. If possible, we will repair it on-site. Many products need to be taken back to our repair center and returned to you when the repair is complete. Any products not under warranty with Bay View Shade & Blind will incur an $80 service fee for each visit, plus the cost of repair.
